William’s shoe store is a venerable, family-run storefront stocking casual & dress shoes for men, women & children. Founded in 1954, the store has seen many different evolutions over the years and is a staple in the downtown Evanston.

The Opportunity

In recent years sales have stalled. The key challenge is to rebrand Williams Shoes to appeal to the wide Evanston demographic and introduce them into the digital age. Before working with People6, Williams did not have a website and only use Facebook for marketing.

New Beginnings

A team of People6 photographers and videographers visited the store to create new content for the website and their social media platforms. We launched Williams Shoe Store's website and strategized new ways for Williams to reach existing and potential customers. We launched a buy online and pick up in-store program for customers. Since the launch of the site, we have seen an increase in sales.

Why It Matters

With their new website, Williams has repositioned themselves as a leader in the Evanston commerce community. Now customers are able to find the store and make purchases online. On top of this, we were able to capture the essence of Williams Shoe Store's spirit.
