Genevieve Thiers is a Chicago entrepreneur. She launched Sittercity.com, America's first to take caregiving services online. She is the author of the book, Love at First Sit, and she writes for Crain's Chicago, NBC.com, and the Huffington Post. She teaches at Northwestern University and mentors entrepreneurs. She is on the board of the CEC, which has created 1871, a co-working space in Chicago. 

The Opportunity

We led the online relaunch of the book Fancloud by Genevieve Thiers. Fancloud is a book geared toward performing artists and college students looking to advance their career as artists. Genevieve uses her unique experience as a performer and founder of Sittercity to provide entertainers with advice and the best techniques for achieving success as an artist.

New Beginnings

We created an email funnel with a list of 5,000 emails of prospective buyers from the top 100 college theater programs. We took Fancloud from a Google Doc to an e-book format and worked on graphic design. The People6 team launched Fancloud's website and managed all of the e-book's social media platform. Along with the book, we managed an affiliate program for university professors, created a 12 part video series and posted weekly blog posts to drive traffic to the website.

Why It Matters

With People6, Genevieve was able to take a passion project and turn it into a profitable product that she can add to her personal brand. Fancloud is shared with other students and Genevieve can live out her purpose.
